What you need

Rust Studio uses the Rust toolchain from rustup. It needs a TrueType font on the system, which every desktop has, and a desktop portal for the file dialogs, which GNOME, KDE and most others provide.

  • x86-64 Linux with X11 or Wayland
  • Rust from rustup.rs to build projects
  • No root: the install script works in your home folder

How it works

  1. Download

Get the Linux download from the download page.

  2. Install

Unpack it and run ./install.sh, or install the .deb.

  3. Build

Start Rust Studio, choose New Project and press F5.
